Print process

Mastering the printing processus is not so easy. I always print all my artworks and sometimes spend a lot of time correcting colors, clarity and tones to keep a faithfull image, both for me and for my clients. I think for this one, it’s ok. I give you some few guidelines in the rest of this article.

New website launched

So here it is, a fresh new website : the v8. Due to some recent hacking attempts (who is stupid enough to try to hack an “art related” website?!), I totally rebuilt it, from the core to the design, which is, as you can see, really more minimalistic than the previous version : I really wanted the visitors to focus on the content, and to easily find what they want. Now each image / illustration / project / etc will have its own details in a full article, separated from the usual news articles, only the photos are still in a “simple” gallery mode (less details to show about a photo, I think, and photos are not really my main activity). I also rebuilt all categorys, kind of displays, reordered the stuff and deleted some things that was too old (RIP to few images). The website is still propulsed by Wordpress but with a recent version, and a lot of modifications and own coded pages/modules, I spent a lot of time these days to do this, it was not so easy because I had a lot of datas to reorder, and the configuration of the website is a bit more complicated than before (specially with the new Wordpress 3 post type format) but… as I also like coding… here it is ! Some more content should be added soon and I can now come back to Photoshop ! By the way, I recently had an eye on the website stats, and wow, I usually don’t really watch those datas, but I was really suprised by the amount of visits each days & month, so if you’re a regular visitor and reading this, thank you very much for keeeping informed and having an eye on my work! If you see any bug or inconvenience, feel free to drop me a message here or on my email. Hope you’ll like it.

Now on Tumblr

Some Tumblr users around there? 3mmi Design have now a page on this site, feel free to subscribe to the feed, and spread the art ! You can access the page by clicking here or on the image. The great thing with this site, if you don’t already use it, is that you can easily repost an article/image you like to your Tumblr page, well, I guess there isn’t anything more simple for sharing images/texts/etc without posting a line of code.

Smartphone wallpaper?

Have a smartphone? I do and I personally use one of my image, “Ways Of A Tiger”, as wallpaper because I think this one is pretty suitable to a smarphone, so I thought it could be interesting to share it, have a look and if you’re interested, you can download it for free, 3 resolutions available, color and monochrome versions. Enjoy.
