I’m proud to show you the cover artwork of the solo project of Alexander Bateman, « Means Of Communication », which used my creation « Nefertem Valley » (but thanks, integration of the logo and the title isn’t made by me…). The image is also used on the whole Myspace page of Alexander. « Means Of Communication » is available on Itunes.

This post show how I made my last image, Karneiros, in less than one hour. The composition is quite simple, but sometime, it’s better like this. Of course, there is not only those images, there is also some layers to adjust light, colors, contrast, etc… and some brushs to adjust all the parts. (Appollon) Karneiros was god of the rams in the dorien mythology.

Grapics Session #1 report

Back from Rennes! I must say that this graphics session started very badly, but after a lot of technical & organizational problems, it finally ended well ! Some pics and a short video (featuring my cousin Pyrogas -long hair like me- sleeping and in a graphic battle!) can be viewed in the rest of this article. Interesting time, I hope a new one soon, maybe in another city.

Exhibition @ Rennes on 13/02 : Graphics Session #1

I’m proud to announce that I will make an exhibition in Rennes (France) at the Antipode MJC on 13/02/2010. This is just in one month ! So, I will be a part of the Graphics Session n°1, organized by the Collectif Lotus. An exhibition which also include several various artists from modern and more old school arts (digital, photography, wall graph, etc…), there also will have some live demonstration on big screen, meetings, workshop, bar/food, and much more… that’s all fun! Kapdesignstudio made a really nice review of my global work on their website, can be found at this page, thanks to Chris for supporting artists from over the world, artists need guys like him! By the way, I have to say that, through the sometimes hard times that a graphic designer have to come through, reading such laudatory review is really pleasant and give a lot of strenght to perseverate!

Pierre-Alain a.k.a Imm3 is the founder of 3mmi Design located in France. But Imm3 is more than just a digital artist from France, this guy is a one man design army. Whether it’s a magnificent piece of digital artwork, a website or a brilliant photograph that you need Imm3 not only possesses the tools, skill and know how, but also the creative genius to get it done with over the top style.

Imm3 has truly mastered the art of photo manipulation and digital painting. He is one of those artists that has the ability to light, and even rekindle the sometimes lost, divine creative spark within others. If your looking for quality work and inspiration you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone more elite than Pierre-Alain.

A STRENGTH WITHIN EP cover

My photo called Troubles will be the cover of the upcoming EP, Never Lose Sight, of the belgian hardcore band A STRENGTH WITHIN, out on 30th December 2009. Here’s the original picture. I’m really happy cause this is my first photo (understand « not a digital image ») which will be used for a project. I can’t wait to receive the final cd !
