It’s been a long time that I wanted to begin to make my own sculptures: now is the time. I’m trying with different materials, wait and see to see the final result… by waiting, here are some previews of the work, and how I make it. Click the image or the « read more » button to see the images.
I’m proud to reveal to new release’s cover artwork of the french band SALVING THY AMISS, « Amid All This Mess, A Week Splendour », click the « read more » button to see it. The album should be released this year, a digipack will be available. To have a taste of the incredible band’s power and influence, you can listen some tracks from their first release « Horsewreck Oh Trail’s Highlight » on their Myspace page and to have more news about the new release very soon.
… and I must say that I’m really happy with the result, I think it looks as I would expect from it. Have a look at it by reading the rest of this post. I’m proud to show you the cover artwork of the solo project of Alexander Bateman, « Means Of Communication », which used my creation « Nefertem Valley » (but thanks, integration of the logo and the title isn’t made by me…). The image is also used on the whole Myspace page of Alexander. « Means Of Communication » is available on Itunes.

Back from Rennes! I must say that this graphics session started very badly, but after a lot of technical & organizational problems, it finally ended well ! Some pics and a short video (featuring my cousin Pyrogas -long hair like me- sleeping and in a graphic battle!) can be viewed in the rest of this article. Interesting time, I hope a new one soon, maybe in another city.
I’m proud to announce that I will make an exhibition in Rennes (France) at the Antipode MJC on 13/02/2010. This is just in one month ! So, I will be a part of the Graphics Session n°1, organized by the Collectif Lotus. An exhibition which also include several various artists from modern and more old school arts (digital, photography, wall graph, etc…), there also will have some live demonstration on big screen, meetings, workshop, bar/food, and much more… that’s all fun! By the way, I have to say that, through the sometimes hard times that a graphic designer have to come through, reading such laudatory review is really pleasant and give a lot of strenght to perseverate! My photo called Troubles will be the cover of the upcoming EP, Never Lose Sight, of the belgian hardcore band A STRENGTH WITHIN, out on 30th December 2009. Here’s the original picture. I’m really happy cause this is my first photo (understand « not a digital image ») which will be used for a project. I can’t wait to receive the final cd !

Well, since I’ve uploaded one of my last artwork, Deliverance, I must say that I have, on my own surprise, really nice feedback from various people on it, beyond any kind of satisfaction, this is really encouraging. As good thing never comes alone, I had 2 « Daily Feature for Excellence » awards for my work on [...]
